Final Days in Utah

Goodbye Parties...

We are lucky enough to have loving family and friends who threw us some very fun going away parties.

Steve and Stacy were very kind and hosted the "friend" party in their backyard. Everyone brought a little something to eat for dinner. After eating, the girls hung out, talked and laughed while the guys played some intense pool dunk ball. It was so fun to see everyone one last time before we moved. We have some awesome friends and every time we get together it is a blast! Thanks to all who came, and thanks again to Steve and Stacy for hosting. Hope to see you all in December.

As for the family party,

We have the best family ever! It was so fun to have both sides of the family together for a fun picnic/BBQ and games at the park. Thanks to both sets of parents for organizing this for us and bringing all the food and entertainment. We played a few awesome games of Badminton until of course we broke all the birdies... then we moved on to volleyball! Everyone was such good sports to play. Even with some competitive energy among us ( you know who you are) we all had a great time. We are definitely going to miss our families so much and look forward to many more family games of Badminton.

Relaxing after the race

The Spudman Triathlon is one of Jeff's favorite races and my favorite race to spectate. It is in Burley Idaho in the Snake River. We head up the night before and set up our tent and just hang out and enjoy the festivities. Jeff's dad and Melinda were nice enough to make the trek up and support Jeff. Jeff had an awesome race and even though he did not win the "Ceramic Spudman" he did very well with a finishing time of 2:14! Good job Jeff!!
